Originally set in 19th century Italy, this re-imagined production of Tosca set in a cabaret club in Soho strips away the pomp, ritual & grandeur of Rome, leaving the audience face-to-face with assault, murder, torture and a power hungry criminal determined to destroy two innocent lives.
This LGBT version of Tosca centres around a gay couple who become embroiled in a dangerous rival gang war. The gendered power dynamics of the original production on its head, exploring and provoking an audience to engage with their views on gender violence.
The cast brings a unique energy and emotion to their roles, showcasing their vocal and theatrical abilities in an unforgettable performance.
