We are looking for NEW coming out stories to include in a new version of OUTINGS
To celebrate Pride Month, King’s Head Theatre is proud to present OUTINGS, a moving and captivating play written by Matthew Baldwin and Thomas Hescott.
Conceptualised in 2014, OUTINGS is a 70-minute play which brings together over 20 true coming out stories, revealing thought-provoking, affirming, and gripping life experiences from LGBTQIA+ individuals around the world, and we are looking for new stories to include in the script.
This innovative production premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival before touring, an international run and a West End showcase. This June, OUTINGS will be performed by a different star-studded cast each Friday night throughout the month at King’s Head Theatre.
Some guests already confirmed include Tracy-Ann Oberman (The Merchant of Venice 1936, Friday Night Dinner), Samuel Barnett (The History Boys), Kate Butch (Drag Race UK), Jodie Jacobs (Rock of Ages, Kathy and Stella Solve a Murder), Ian Hallard (The Boys in the Band), Abigail Thorn (Philosophy Tube), Linus Karp (Gwyneth Goes Skiing, Diana: The Untold and Untrue Story), Freddie Love (Just for One Day), Isabel Adomakoh Young (As You Like It), and Olivier-award winner David Cumming and Nichola McAuliffe. Further casting to be announced soon.
Through OUTINGS, we are proudly fundraising for King's Head Theatre & a collection for LGBTQ+ Switchboard Charity.
