Freud's Last Session

Following it's sell out run earlier this year Freud's Last Session returns to the Kings Head Theatre.  One more chance to catch the play which the Financial Times called "gripping" and of which the Islington Gazette said "this could be the play of the year".

The first of September, 1939. Sigmund Freud, the world renowned psychoanalyst awaits the visit of soon to be legendary author C.S. Lewis on the day World War 2 is declared. The impending war and Freud’s failing health catalyses a far deeper conversation as they clash about the existence of God, love, sex, and the meaning of life.

Freud’s Last Session enjoyed a sell out ★★★★★ run this January and later in the year starts shooting as a major motion picture. Real life Psychiatrist turned actor Dr Julian Bird (Eastenders, The Tudors) returns in the title role.
