ALTO-HOLIC

Comedian and actor Madeleine MacMahon laments the highs and lows of her alto range, her love of wine and the life that flashed before her eyes as she fell…

In 2019 Madeleine MacMahon fell out of a plane. It was on the ground at the time. That feels important.

ALTO-HOLIC (The Curtain Up Show’s ‘Cabaret Show of 2016’) is a cabaret of comedy and songs from actress and comedian Madeleine MacMahon (Max Turner Comedy Prize Winner ‘21; Funny Women Semi-Finalist & ‘One To Watch’; BBC New Comedy Regional Finalist; A Super Happy Story (About Feeling Super Sad); Eastenders (BBC); Doctors (BBC)).

With a tone somewhere between Fascinating Aida and Sara Pascoe, the show laments the highs and lows of her alto range, her love of wine and the life that flashed before her eyes as she fell…

Madeleine will be accompanied by Aaron Clingham. Aaron has received nine Off-West End Award Nominations and a Broadway World Nomination for Best Musical Director. Credits include numerous productions at Above The Stag Theatre, Ye Olde Rose and Crown Theatre, The Cockpit, Leicester Square Theatre, King’s Head Theatre and The Roundhouse.
