Four Felons & a Funeral

A new musical following a (dysfunctional) group of friends on a roadtrip to scatter their mate’s ashes

This show is part of Queer Futures. Explore the season & find out more here!

Ever thought of stealing someone’s ashes? Neither had Millie.

Now she’s barrelling down the M6 in a Fiat with three accomplices, forty-five packets of crisps and a large urn. Four Felons & a Funeral tells the story of four (dysfunctional) friends on a roadtrip to scatter their mate’s ashes. En-route, they go through the five essential stages of grief: screaming, shouting, fighting, f*cking and fleeing from justice.

A feel-good show about letting go of the people we’ve lost, and learning to lean on the ones we’ve got. Winner of the Musical Theatre Review's 2022 Special Award, GOYA presents a queer rom-com road-trip musical.

'The score is both edgy & touching, switching with ease from comedic wit to full-hearted melancholy★★★★ Stage Talk

'Wonderful... blends a comedy caper with a soap opera's worth of relationship dramas all carried along on a bed of grief' ★★★★ The Reviews Hub
