Meet Jack and Billy, two singer-songwriters on the cusp of success.

On the advice of their agent, they conceal their relationship and recruit a female singer, Mara. Her presence helps catapult them into the limelight, but also brings romantic and creative tensions which threaten to tear the band apart...
