Technical & Facilities Manager
Salary | £32.5-£35k
Contract Type | Full Time / Permanent
Hours | 35 hours per week (excluding breaks). This role will require some evenings and weekends around show call and technical requirements.
Please note, this role is able to be part time on request, for the right candidate.
Overview:
The Technical &Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the theatre’s operations. On a day-to-day basis, they will manage the backstage areas and theatre spaces, serving as the primary point of contact for technical matters and other operational issues that may arise in a busy theatre environment. They will act as a representative of the theatre to stage managers, directors, performers, and producers working within the venue, and will work collaboratively with Front of House and Box Office teams to ensure the smooth and efficient running of all performances.
When not on duty for performances, the Technical & Facilities Manager will be responsible for maintaining the theatre’s technical equipment, supporting in the management and maintenance of the building, overseeing technical rehearsals and get-ins, and managing the weekly theatre schedule and Technical rotas.
