GOLDEN GOOSE SCHEME
Pantomime is usually a lot of children's first introduction to theatre and we want to ensure every child has the opportunity to experience the magic this Christmas.
If you're a local school, with a high proportion of your children on free school meals, then you may be eligible for more subsidised or free tickets through our Golden Goose Scheme. This programme enables members of the community to purchase tickets for some of your students to attend the performance in a Pay It Forward programme. If you'd like to know more about this then please get in touch, or if you know someone who might be able to contribute towards the programme then please do introduce them.
OTHER INFORMATION
King's Head Theatre has 215 seats and we can accomodate up to that amount of students, or in smaller groups. Depending on the performance you book will depend on whether the performance is exclusive to your school group or not.
We are able to arrange for photo opportunities and meet & greets with the cast on request.
Jack and the Beanstalk is suitable for school children of all ages.
The theatre is located down 4 stories, but is fully wheelchair accessible and can be step free. There are plenty of toilets available.
Our theatre is very intimate, which can be great and engrossing and interactive for children. This does mean that we ask there is at least 1x adult per every 10x children - with adults going free for school groups.
