Alongside her work at KHT, Katie is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Love Song Productions, an queer theatre company focusing on new writing, LGBTQ+ stories, and formally innovative work. She has directed and produced two consecutive Edinburgh Fringe productions with the company, both running for the full festival at Pleasance Courtyard and earning several 4 and 5 star reviews, as well as nominations for the OffFest and Binge Fringe awards.
Katie is also a freelance theatre critic, currently writing for Broadway World UK and The Scotsman, and was the 2023 winner of the Fringe Young Writers Award. Alongside this, she is a theatre PR and marketing freelancer.
Katie is thrilled to be working at a venue that shares her passion for queer theatre and for supporting new artists.
