Sofi is a Sri Lankan theatre producer originally from Melbourne, Australia. She joined the King's Head team in 2022 and producer and became the Acting CEO in 2023 before leading the organisation through the closing of the old pub theatre space and the opening of the new theatre. Previously, she was the Producer & General Manager for VAULT Festival, General Manager of Olivier-award nominated Les Enfants Terribles & Producer of London’s Free Open Air Theatre Season at The Scoop. Sofi is the chairwoman for Iris Theatre and sits on the boards of Angel BID and Rifco Theatre Company.

Sofi is also a co-Director of Metal Rabbit Productions, whose productions include Boy Parts, Radiant Vermin, Cuckoo (Soho Theatre), The Prince, Evelyn (Southwark Playhouse), We're Staying Right. Here, Fishskin (Park Theatre) The Misandrist, Cargo (Arcola Theatre), Spiderfly (Theatre503) and Ruckus (UK Tour) and Mediocre White Male (King's Head Theatre). Her company Wound Up Theatre have also produced a number of productions at Edinburgh Fringe and on tour including Tones: A Hip Hop Opera (Paines Plough Roundabout), The Death of Molly Milly and Bismillah! an ISIS Tragicomedy (Underbelly) and It'll be Alt-Right on the Night. Her productions have won Offie and Broadwayworld Awards.

Sofi has also taught Intro To Festival Producing (MA) at Central School of Speech & Drama & Mountview Academy of the Arts for the last 3 years.
