This autumn, King's Head Theatre will host three unique productions and, through the lens of technology, politics, and sexuality, ask a timely and provocative question: who are we behind our public face?

Some of the biggest stories are told in the smallest rooms - and this autumn, we bring you three powerful stories about the distance between the lives we show other people and the private truth.

YOU & IT - 20 August - 26 September

South Korea's award-winning musical sensation arrives in London!

Following sold-out acclaim across Asia and a triumphant Edinburgh Fringe run, You & It transfers to the King's Head Theatre, Islington, for a limited season.

A grieving widower meets an artificial intelligence built in his late wife's image — and must confront grief, memory, and what it truly means to be human.

Winner of Best Musical at the Daegu International Musical Festival, this intimate two-hander asks: if AI could recreate the person you loved, would you let it?

With a soaring contemporary score and devastating emotional depth, You & It is Korean musical theatre at its finest.

THE GANG OF THREE -  1 - 11 October

The ★★★★★ box office smash-hit The Gang of Three returns to King's Head Theatre for a limited run with a returning cast!

Deep in the heart of the corridors of power, the Labour Party's Roy Jenkins, Denis Healey and Tony Crosland clash over the soul of British socialism and their own relentless ambitions.

Set against the backdrop of economic crisis, Robert Khan and Tom Salinsky’s acclaimed political drama brings to life the personalities, principles and private tensions that shaped a generation of politics.

A chance to revisit a defining moment in the battle for the soul of the Labour Party, which captures the towering intellects, fierce rivalries and the private tensions behind public power.

Sharp, provocative and richly entertaining, this is political theatre at its most gripping.

DOUBLE BILL: TELL ME STRAIGHT & AGGY - 15 October - 14 November

A ★★★★★ double billing of acclaimed Queer shows.

Following a critically acclaimed run at the Park Theatre, Paul Bradshaw  (West 11, Southwark Playhouse; The Barn, Turbine Theatre) returns to the King's Head with a double bill of tell me straight & aggy.

tell me straight is a fast-paced, semi-autobiographical, coming-of-adulthood play that's a glorious, witty, and provocative exploration of what it means to navigate and embrace our sexuality.

aggy is a bold one-act play exploring privilege, gender, race and creativity. It's about art and who gets to make it. The play unflinchingly examines how people freely police one another, and how this can lead to destruction.

Both plays offer a candid portrayal of modern queer life in London and trace how people shape themselves under the pressure of relationships, with wit and emotional honesty.

We hope to see you at KHT soon!
