16 Postcodes is a deeply personal show comprising of monologues drawn from Jessica Regan's real-life city tales of love and landlords, of mice and men, as she moves North, South, East and West and finding out which is best. It also speaks to the ubiquitous life challenges of leaving your home country to forge a life in another and the all-too-common experience of renting in a city that feels like it trying to squeeze you out. Jessica is the embodiment of Generation Rent. Her show might be funny but 16 postcodes in 20 years is no joke.
With a strong background in comedy, sketch and improv, Jessica does not want you to merely relate but participate. You'll help her find her way in London, helping her select stories from her trove of 16, one for every address, so that it’s never the same show twice.
Jessica has striven to find her community in each postcode and hopes to create a new community each time she performs her show.
16 Postcodes was sell-out success in Edinburgh in 2024 and Jessica is thrilled to bring the show back to London, where it all started.
