Anyone For Tennis

A new play reading and conversation with Steven Berkoff.

Steven Berkoff, renowned for his trail-blazing theatremaking, re-unites with King's Head Theatre for this new play reading - starring Steven Berkoff and Sue Kelvin.

This new writing by Steven is a short play which draws the line between relationships and tennis, with the performances taking place on the same days as the Wimbledon finals. Tune in for moments of captivating comedy and heartfelt drama - where every point counts and every argument hits home.

In 1991, Steven Berkoff directed & starred in the UK premiere of his infamous play Kvetch at the King’s Head Theatre. We are very proud to host the first reading of this new play in our new building, continuing the legacy of his work.

The reading is followed by a Q&A with Steven on his career and his relationship with Kings Head Theatre and our founder, Dan Crawford.
