Between the Heartbeats is a night of West End talent up close, in the intimacy of the King's Head Theatre.

A joyful, powerful event celebrating Black queer artistry and excellence, Between the Heartbeats features performers from all your favourite musicals, for one night only. See the stars of Everybody's Talking about Jamie, Cabaret, Kinky Boots, Hadestown and more. Performers from musicals you love, right up close and personal.

Described as “a fearless declaration of Black artistry taking up space,” Between the Heartbeats is a celebration of queer love, Black excellence, and artistic freedom. A reminder that our stories are not niche, not optional, and not temporary.

Through explosive vocals, raw storytelling, and electric live performance, this concert reclaims space in an industry that has historically marginalised Black queer bodies. This is Pride beyond the rainbow capitalism. This is legacy. Resistance. Survival. Pleasure. Power.

Come for the music.

Leave changed.
