Gang Bang

A comedy about the mafia that got on the wrong boat and ended up in Blackpool.

Edinburgh Fringe Preview

In 1945, when Sicilians were pouring onto boats for America, one man by the name of Don Lambrini accidentally boarded an all-inclusive Thomas Cook cruise to Blackpool, England.

Gang Bang is a comedy following the mafia that got on the wrong boat out of Sicily and ended up in Blackpool. A send up of 20th Century Gangster Films filled with madcap gags, surreal pastiches. A tale of blood, revenge, and black pudding.

Gang Bang sees mobsters Jack Lambrini, Al Dente, and Fray Bentos battle it out for power in the North of England. This is Hughie Shepherd-Cross’ sixth fringe play aged 25, having previously written Fringe hits Ringer, Out to Lunch, Frog’s Legs and Goons.

As heard on Radio4xtra.
