The grass was a lot greener in 1948... then the technicolor started to fade.

Dubbed by American critics as "a brilliant new musical", Goin' Hollywood is a bursting-at-the-seams Broadway pleasure machine.

Have you ever wished you born in another time? Alice does. When she makes a wish on her birthday, she and her bestie Garson are magically whisked back to 1948 Hollywood and start writing movie musicals at MGM. But sexism, antisemitism and the McCarthy era blacklist loom in the background as they tap dance their way around the obstacles.
