Following the success of its debut, award-nominated Northern Spirit Theatre Company returns to the King's Head Theatre with Women in the Now: The Next Chapter.

Featuring eight brand-new short plays, this powerful evening of contemporary theatre celebrates women's voices through bold, original new writing. Honest, funny, thought-provoking and deeply human, each piece explores the realities, challenges and triumphs of what it means to be a woman today.

Championing both emerging and established artists, Women in the Now: The Next Chapter brings together eight unique stories that shine a light on lived experience, spark conversation and place women's voices centre stage.

Founded on a passion for creating opportunities and telling stories that deserve to be heard, award-nominated Northern Spirit Theatre Company continues its commitment to producing accessible, high-quality theatre that celebrates new writing and champions underrepresented voices.
