Queer joy explodes during a tantalising tarot sesh

Igniting fears and leaning into the surreal, Belinda combines British narrative with Eastern European flair; delving into the complexity of queer culture in a society that demands we be digestible.

Intimate flatmates, Ruby and Rose, both at a crossroads with who they thought they were, meet for a devilishly revealing tarot reading. Their subconscious desires burst and scuttle through their attempts to resist... Belinda interrogates the bi+ experience through a kaleidoscope - the migrant experience of queerness, the weight of past relationships, queerbating, expectations both within and without the queer community. They need that space, but question their right to it.

At times hysterically funny, intriguingly absurd, and brutally honest, Belinda (Offies Award Nomination IDEA Production: Experimental Theatre) is tribute to queer joy, and the euphoric pursuit of embracing yourself.
