Gays Having Babies
Drama + A Queer Interrogation

Gays Having Babies

5 Eras. 2 Gays. 1 Obstacle.

This show is part of the Platform Festival. Explore the full season & find out more here!

Follow the story of Jane & Joe in their quest to create a family. Spread across 5 eras, we meet them contemplating surrogacy, the social expectation of parenthood, birthing an heir, shameful lesbians, and the pure biological need to reproduce. If there even is such a thing.

But what happens when limits are pushed, when the need becomes too hard, when the obstacle grows too big, and time feels like it’s about to push you over a cliff?

A funny, freaky, feisty play that asks us how ancient queer grudges make their way into the present world.
