"When my brain gets all jumbly, I just need to breathe - my sister taught me that."
Basil’s sister is missing.
The police don’t seem interested.
What harm could it do if they just started collecting evidence?
This thrilling new musical mystery follows Basil Plaint through hijinks and hairpin turns as they untangle the puzzle of their missing sister. But while interrogating suspects and following leads, our budding young sleuth quickly realises the trail leads far deeper into the depths of their past than even they realised. Can they find their sister before it's too late?
Written and performed by Izzie Winter (they/them), My Sister Is Missing previewed at The Pen Theatre and premiered at The Drayton Arms in 2022. The show progressed to a five day workshop and sold-out industry presentation at The Other Palace directed by Georgie Rankcom (Anybody Can Whistle, Southwark Playhouse).
We’re excited to introduce you to Basil Plant… Oh, sorry. Plaint. Basil Plaint! (Don't worry, they get that a lot).
