Origin Story live in Islington, Mon 15 July

ORIGIN STORY – the acclaimed podcast that explains misrepresented political ideas and makes you laugh too – makes its live debut at the King’s Head.

Join us for a night of deep political analysis, historical allusions and totally unconcealed euphoric glee as Dorian Lynskey (The Guardian, author of Everything Must Go) and Ian Dunt (i paper columnist and author of How To Be A Liberal) pick over the carcass of the Conservative party in the wake of the general election results. They’ll bring their judicious impartial political assessments to… no, who are we kidding? They will dance over the bodies of their political enemies.

Once they pull themselves together, they’ll take a look at 14 years of Tory chaos, the ups and downs of the Labour Party, the rise and fall of British populism, and the sudden attractiveness of centrism. It turns out that reports of its death may have been exaggerated….
