Alongside her work at KHT, Katie is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Love Song Productions, an emerging queer theatre company focusing on new writing, LGBTQ+ stories, and formally innovative work. She has directed and produced two consecutive Edinburgh Fringe productions with the company, earning several 4 and 5 star reviews, as well as nominations for the OffFest and Binge Fringe awards.
Katie is also a freelance theatre critic, currently writing for Broadway World UK. She was the 2023 winner of the Fringe Young Writers Award, and writes for The Scotsman during Edinburgh festivals season.
