Breeding: Angles of Angel Case Study 

The Angels of Angels Production Fund is pleased to announce that the first production we have chosen to support is Breeding by Barry McStay. 

Breeding originally premiered in 2023 as the headline 3 week show during Tom Ratcliffe’s Guest Artistic Takeover Season. The season handed the keys of our old venue  to four LGBTQ+ Guest Artistic Directors to programme and produce in the space. 

Breeding received rave reviews as well an Offie Nominations. The production is produced by Gabby Sills, a Stage One Bursary recipient, and Seabright Live. The original production was directed by Matthew Illfe, however, we are delighted that Tom Ratcliffe has come on board to direct the remount in our new space. 

The Production Fund is a unique fund and supporter network focussed on the creation and support of new and exciting theatrical productions. The Angels of Angel fund is delighted to be able to support Barry McStay in his development and his first full length run play, from our 100 seat venue to a full production on our 200 seat main stage.
