What is the Play Exchange?
Our Play Exchange scheme is open to all; this scheme invites individuals to trade in their pre-loved plays for daring new dramas or captivating comedies from our extensive collection. These texts, generously donated by our past collaborating partners, are now available for others to enjoy.
Don't have a play to exchange? No problem! Our Selected Plays are still available for purchase at £4, offering you the opportunity to expand your collection and delve into exciting stories.
Our scheme not addresses the rising costs of plays and ensures accessibility to a diverse selection of texts for all who visit us. In addition to playtexts, our bookshop offers a range of other literary treasures, including theatre-making guides, LGBTQ+ plays, anthologies, and playtexts from past KHT productions.
