How to book tickets:
Online
Online bookings can be made at any time. Visit our What's On page for a breakdown of upcoming productions.
Telephone
02072 268561 - Our Box Office telephone line is open Monday to Friday (on show days), 3.00pm-6.00pm.
Please note that only tickets will be able to be purchased through this number. Other members of the theatre across departments are not available on this number & will need to be contacted by email, which you can be found on the Team Page.
In Person
A select number of tickets can be made on the door from 1 hour before performance start times. We do not recommend booking on the door if you would like to guarantee a seat.
Covid-19
We continue to ask you to refrain from attending the theatre if you have Covid-19, or believe you may have experienced symptoms in the last 5 days. If you have tested positive, then please inform box office who will be able to provide you with an exchange into another date for the same performance or theatre credit to use on future performances.
Refunds will not be given for Covid or other illness.
Ticket Exchanges
Tickets can be exchanged for other performances of the same production, if requested at least 24 hours in advance of the original performance commencing.
Requests for ticket exchanges should be emailed to [email protected] - Please quote your booking order number (which should begin with 22-XX-XXXX and found on your confirmation email) and the date and time of the performance you would like to exchange to.
If you’re unsure of what dates are available please click on the production on the Whats On page, click Book Tickets and a list of performances will be displayed. Box Office will automatically exchange you into similar seats to what you had booked but we cannot guarantee the same seats.
No refunds will be given if the Face Value of the new tickets are less than you originally paid, or if we need to move you to a lower price band. Tickets may only be exchanged for different performance dates of the same production.
If the Face Value of the new tickets are more than you originally paid, then we reserve the right to ask you to pay the difference and the new Face Value.
Ticket Prices
Prices differ from performance to performance but we always try to have a number of accessibly priced tickets available.
If you are not able to afford a ticket, but would like to see a show then please get in touch with [email protected] and we will see what we can do. Unfortunately, this isn’t guaranteed as we need to consult individual producers.
We aim to have 10 tickets for £10 at every performance but this is at the discretion of the producer.
Concessions
Concessions are available on selected seats on selected performances.
You may be asked to provide proof of concession on arrival at the theatre so please bring this with you, if you fail to provide proof then we will ask you to pay the difference to a full price ticket. Our concessions are available to:
- Under 30 years old on the performance date.
- Full time students
- N1 Residents
- Unwaged or receiving universal credit
- Registered Disabled
- Theatre Union Member including Equity, BECTU, SDUK, ITC, UKT, League of Independent Producers, MU or equivalent.
Essential Companions & Wheelchair Users
If you are Registered Disabled & require an essential companion in order to visit the theatre then we will provide your companion with a complimentary ticket. We have level access into the auditorium and are wheelchair accessible but space is limited so we do advise booking as far in advance as possible. For all access bookings we recommend booking by phone on 0207 226 8561 or emailing [email protected].
Group Discounts
The following discounts are available for group bookings, please get in touch with Box Office 0207 226 8561 to book. Please note this offer excludes £10 tickets.
- 7-9 Tickets Purchased = £1 off per ticket
- 10-14 Tickets Purchased = £2 off per ticket
- 15+ Tickets Purchased = £3 off per ticket
For school groups, teachers/supervisors can receive a free ticket in addition to the discounts above.
Discounts & Promotional Codes
Any discounts, including promotional codes, must be inputed online, or quoted to a member of staff in person or by phone before a booking payment is completed. Discounts cannot be retroactively applied to orders once the payment has been completed.
Re-admittance & Latecomers Policy
We cannot guarantee re-admittance or admittance after the performance time. The theatre is very intimate and this can be incredibly distracting both to performers and other audience members. So we ask you arrive at least 15 minutes before the performance start time.
If re-admittance or latecomers are permitted it will be at the discretion of the performer and FOH staff.
Refunds and exchanges are not valid for latecomers or re-admittance. This includes for travel problems, strikes or any other reason.
Reselling Tickets
Tickets must not be sold for profit or commercial gain by any outlet other than King's Head Theatre. Failure to comply will make this ticket and transaction void. If a performance is sold out we will endeavour to sell any returned tickets, subject to availability. If a ticket is resold we will issue you with credit at the theatre, valid for 12 months, from the date that the credit is issued and can only be used for payment for future bookings at the King's Head Theatre only.
Recording Performances
Any recording of the performance either audio or visual is strictly prohibited. The theatre reserves the right to refuse entry of, and use of, such equipment on the premises.
Refunds
Tickets are non-refundable, except in the event of a cancelled performance, when only the face value of your ticket is refundable. Refunds will take up to 7 working days to process. In any event, including show cancellations, personal arrangements including travel and accommodation relating to the event which have been arranged by you are at your own risk and are not refundable by us.
If you leave a show or do not attend a show, for any reason, then tickets are non-refundable. This includes for trigger warnings, which will be available on the show page of our website in advance of booking.
Show Cancellations
If a show is cancelled by us then you will be offered a choice between the following options;
- Exchange to another date of the same performance
- Theatre Credit to be used within 12 months for any show at the Kings Head Theatre
- A refund less booking fees to your original card
