Dare You Say Please

A Black Mirror-esque dark comedy set in a dystopian world

"Do you honestly believe your life is worth more than mine?"

A dark comedy drama about an overpopulated society pushed to take extreme measures.

Two strangers get to know each other before they are forced to make the ultimate decision: Which one of them will live beyond this room? How will they decide? Will the connection they find influence their decision?

This production explores the different human reactions to high pressure situations & our obsession with morality, mortality & normality.

Dare You Say Please is Aimee Varani’s second play (The Importance of Being Martha, The Hope Theatre) with versions of her work having been shown at The Pleasance & Canal Cafe Theatre. She has been previously shortlisted for BBC Ignite & has studied with The Sundance Institute and Royal Central School of Speech & Drama.

The play features Leon Finnan (Masters of the Air, Apple TV; Merry Wives of Windsor, RSC) & Nancy Farino (Anatomy Of A Scandal, Netflix) & is directed by award-nominated Alexzandra Sarmiento (We’re Far and Few Between, White Bear Theatre).
