"I was embarrassed. I started to cry... so I had to take a picture of myself”

A dark comedy following twenty-something waitress Kit who moves to London with a fresh diagnosis, PTSD.

When she isn’t pretending to be famous on the tube, she’s hoping she’ll collapse on the restaurant floor and never have to work again. Living in a generation that navigates mental illness through TikTok trends, Kit is THE main character and sitting down with her demons has never been cuter. If she doesn’t laugh, she’ll cry (and probably take a picture of it).

Following her nomination as an emerging writer by BBC New Writing North, Lois-Amber Toole makes her debut at King's Head Theatre.
